Q: Do I really need a home inspection?

A: For many people, the purchase of a home is the largest investment they will ever make. Therefore, it is important to have the home visually inspected inside and out for potentially costly defects.
 

Q: When should I book my home inspection?

A: The home inspection should be booked when you are out of attorney review.
 

Q: How long does a home inspection take?

A: Our inspections, in a typical house (2.5 Bathrooms or less) take about 2 - 2.5 hours.


Q: How much does the home inspection cost? 

A: The cost of the home inspection depends on the house size and its complexities. When you call to book the inspection, we will ask you all about the home. Having the information ready is recommended.
 

Q: Who attends the home inspection?  

A: The person(s) buying the home are encouraged to attend. If you have a realtor, they will also be present.
 

Q: Do all home inspectors perform the same inspections? 

A: All Keystone Inspectors perform their inspections according to the New Jersey Administrative Code Title 13; Chapter 40; Subchapter 15
 

Q: When should I expect my report(s)?

A: Our reports are sent out within 24 hours of your inspection. If you do not get your report, please check your spam or junk folder. If it is not there, then please call us the next day so we can double check your email address and correct it, and send the report(s). The radon report will not be ready for 5 to 7 days, due to the nature of those tests.

 
Q: Do the reports have pictures?

A: Our reports have pictures. The report is easy to read and you are able to click on each picture to enlarge it for easier viewing.
 

Q: Once we get the report, can we call to discuss the findings? 

A: Please call as soon as you have had a chance to look over the report. We are more than happy to answer any questions that you might have regarding the report.
